This level appears to represent a transsection through the ancient water-body. Stratigraphic discontinuity is detected around the insectiferous lense. To the left, the siltstone gradually transforms into palaeosols; whereas to the right, this discontinuity disappears, and sediments represent a deeper part of the reservoir.
